PRIVACY POLICY XSPHERE

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how XSPHERE processes user-sensitive data. XPLM Solution GmbH ("XPLM") values your privacy and is committed to ensuring that your personal information is processed in compliance with applicable Data Protection Regulations.

TRANSMISSION OF USER-SENSITIVE DATA

XSPHERE is installed on an Internet Information Services ("IIS") web server in your company. The links ("XLINK") made between applications are stored in a defined database in your company. This database is installed and configured during the XSPHERE setup. No user-sensitive data is transferred to XPLM.

LOGIN INFORMATION STORAGE

When users are connecting to an application using XSPHERE, the login information is stored in the browser's session storage. This information exists as long as the browser session is kept active and is deleted when closing the browser. Apart from session storage, XSPHERE does not use cookies to store personally identifiable information.

MICROSOFT TEAMS PLUGIN

Specific to MS Teams, the XSPHERE personal app stores by default the user's email address in the XLINK table to identify the source of the link and visualize it in the graphical view. The email address is also stored in the XLINK database. For instructions on how you can configure the personal app to not store the user's email address, see the Installation and Administration Guide.

USER INFORMATION IN LOG FILES

If you enable logging and increase the logging level, user information, such as the connecting user, may be written into log files on the IIS. By default, logging is disabled. For instructions on how you can enable logging and specify the location of log files, see the Installation and Administration Guide.

DATA PROTECTION AND INFORMATION SECURITY

It is recommended to configure the connection to XSPHERE on the IIS using the secure protocol HTTPS and a valid certificate. By default, Windows authentication is enabled for information security purposes. Users will have to log in using their domain credentials when using XSPHERE.

XPLM takes reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no guarantee can be given that the implemented security measures will prevent all unauthorized access, as no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

XPLM reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time and will post any updates or changes to this Policy here on this website. Your continued use of XSPHERE after any changes have been made indicates your acceptance of the revised Policy.
